"We had one of those days where if it could go wrong it did and Deanna at the Marina Motel saved the day. We called to confirm the reservation before we drove out there and after hearing about our day she not only confirmed the reservation, but when we got there she'd moved us into a bigger room. She went above and beyond to make the stay special for us and our kids. "

"The place looks shabby. The rooms look shabby. Bathroom was clean… room was clean. Beds were comfortable. The hallways are dark and dingy. Just needs a paint job. The outside needs a paint job. Place needs new blinds … the ones there just look shabby. I was comfortable but concerned about security tho it my have been unwarranted. "

"Yolanda was the lady at the front desk and when went to our room and found the shower not cleaned, she apologized and upgraded our room with easy. Sheri, one of the cleaning staff also apologized and stopped by our room a couple of times to make sure that everything was okay. She also pointed us to a couple of great dining restaurants."

"It is a small motel near the scenic road from Anchorage to Seward. The view awesome. It takes 30- 40 minutes to get to Anchorage, 20 minutes to get to Wild life center and 40 minutes to Whittier. The price is much reasonable compared to the fancy hotels in Anchorage and Sewards. There is a gas station next to the motel. We brough our own food. We did not see many dinning options. "
