"This is the first time I have made a negative report about any hotel-- stay somewhere else. The property is a rehabbed luxury home from the late 1800s or early 1900s--probably the home of a Pittsburgh robber baron. There is no staff. We arrived about 2:00 P.M. and found an individual working in the restaurant kitchen who was able to get us to our room. The room was unique and only 34 stairs up a very old and steep staircase. "Boggs Mansion was excellent! I was getting married so I stayed here the night before and the the night of my wedding and the staff was amazing!! He even was so kind to upgrade my room to a larger one so we could all get ready without any upcharge! They were so kind and willing to help with everything, made us feel so welcomed! The atmosphere of the mansion was so great I loved it!"

"Hotel is outdated. The reviews are great that I read but I don’t get it. The room was clean but hallways and other areas weren’t. Only one pair of elevators for the building so it took forever every time. Positive: breakfast was good."

"Property was right across street from PNC park which was great. Parking was very limited due to construction next door. Was charged $27 a day to park the car and were told if we left to drive somewhere they wouldn’t guarantee a spot to park when got back so had to walk everywhere and not go places we wanted to see. Should let people know about parking. Other than that the property was great and staff were very friendly"

"Very funky hotel layout - it's only 2 floors but they're on the 5th and 6th floors and the elevator can be slow. The rooms are spacious and the in-room exercise equipment was kind of nice. But the lobby, restaurant, and other public spaces have no (or severely underpowered?) air conditioning which made it miserable on a hot summer day."
