"The hotel’s location is excellent, but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. Aside from a few members of the cleaning staff and one or two front desk employees, our presence was met with indifference. We were traveling with a service dog and found ourselves repeatedly having to justify his presence nearly every time we entered the hotel, which became both frustrating and uncomfortable.

"No where on the building do the words “Bluebird Suites” appear. This was an apartment, not a hotel room. Parking was not included, so I had to pay to park at another hotel about a block away. We needed a wristband to access the pool area, which was not provided. Notes included with our check in required us to clean the place and remove our trash from the room. "This is Not a Luxury hotel.
The modern room space is perfectly efficient. No carpet, which means cleaner floor (think of carpet as a petri dish) Accomodates comfortable king size bed and a small desk. Great view from floor to ceiling windows. 55 inch TV.
Bathroom is similarly clean-line modern, with an economical use of space.
At a NYC price point 50% below it's more spacious, luxurious competitors, I would again choose this hotel over any of the others. Affordability without compromise."

"Super cute, clean, comfortable hotel with extremely nice staff in a great part of town away from the hub bub. Yes, our room was tiny, but it was well thought-out with great amenities and that's a trade-off in NYC for a reasonably priced hotel. The breakfast was a plus, for sure. The only problems were that the rooms were really small and it will take upwards of 15-20 minutes to get an elevator because they have 4 elevators, but none of them are designated for just up or down.
