"Room was comfortable but that’s the only positive. Arrived for self check-in within the stipulated time, and the room was not cleaned since the last guests. Customer service is difficult to reach and might be a bot (?). Said to leave immediately because the room was double booked. When I said no, they said that actually they’re just confused with another reservation and they will send a cleaner. Had to wait awhile. Overall very stressful and terrible lack of service - I can’t properly explain...

"My husband and I utterly enjoyed our stay at Atlantico grand hotel, its beautiful, everyone is super friendly, and the daily breakfast spread gave us lots of options to eat. I am very happy with our choice of hotel on this trip, my husband and I won't mind returning to the island for more exploration. We absolutely loved Sao Miguel island and to be able to stay in such a top notch hotel was a bonus for our adventure. Thank you hotel staffs for making our stay so wonderful. 😘"

"The staff are kind and friendly. They are truly very nice. The property is clean, the small qualm is that the shower can leak through the cover, which a bath towel can handle. It is spacious and a proper apartment within the hotel, as listed. But, the resort is nothing like the listing.
To begin, the property is in a different municipality than described. There is no breakfast served at this hotel, and no option to purchase it. The gym is a few run down treadmills with a fan. The jacuzzi is a...

"Le restaurant ouvre pas avant 19h30 et ne prennent que 8 personnes à la fois. Est-ce à cause d’une manque de personnel? Piscine intérieur est beaucoup plus petite que sur le site et en plus vous devez porter un casque de bain que vous acheté à la réception.
Il me mentionne que tous les hôtels ont cette exigence. Pour avoir voyager beaucoup et avoir pris des nuits ailleurs sur l’île , il n’a jamais été question de mettre une casque de bain."

"Terra Nostra is just across the street. Grocery store is very close. Bus stop is close by. Secure check in with codes. Even though there’s no front desk , it’s easy to navigate as long as you come at the scheduled check in , otherwise code won’t work. If you need to use the bathroom before check in there’s football locker rooms around the corner and a restaurant"

"We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast could be improved, as there is room for more variety and better options. The location is good for exploring Ponta Delgada city and its historical sites, with many attractions easily accessible. However, if you plan to explore other parts of the island, I highly recommend renting a small car,(free street parking after 8pm. The parking meter kick in 8am, so just get your parking...
