"The Galt Hotel was a lovely place to stay during our trip for a family event. I traveled with my child, and overall we had a great experience.
Upon arrival, the valet area was a bit confusing. The staff seemed to wait for us rather than approaching the vehicle to assist with check-in, but perhaps that’s just how things are done there. I ended up self-parking, and the garage was definitely… interesting and very historical in design.
Check-in was smooth enough, although the staff was training someone at the time and didn’t seem especially engaging. We stayed on the West side of the hotel, which was quite a trek with a small child. I’m not sure whether requesting the East side would have been an option, but it may have made things a little easier.
One highlight of our stay was dining at Swizzle Dinner & Drinks on the 25th floor. The food and atmosphere were amazing, and the service was stellar highly recommend! We also visited the hotel spa on the 17th floor, and the team there was incredibly talented and welcoming.
The hotel’s location was perfect and made getting around very convenient. Overall, despite a few very minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and would consider visiting again."
