"Dowds' Country Inn was beautiful and picturesque, and charming in that way that only old buildings can be. The sign was very difficult to read at night, but once we found the place, we loved it. Just beyond the inn parking lot you could see a beautiful herb and vegetable garden. The entryway was beautiful and inviting. My partner and I entered the lobby and found it warmly lit, with a sign expressing regrets that no one could be there to greet us (we were arriving late at night). On the front...

"This was our favorite stay on our 10 day New England trip last year. The host was most gracious, showing us around the facility when we arrived, explaining a bit of the history of the house, made us feel right at home, she also explained dinner options nearby. The grounds are exquisite, what a great feeling being out in the beautiful New Hampshire countryside. And then their was the breakfast...absolutely delicious! Thank you for everything!"
