"It’s a nice property, they have two towers, plenty of parking, and close to a lot of things. Location is good and Walmart not far to pick up at. Right on beach and has multiple pools. They have updated their rules in 2026 from 2025 and allow toys and floats in the pool area now. I believe they were loosing business and decided to loosen up a little with all the restrictions and security checks."

"It was a great location, and being right on the beach was very nice. The room was starting to show signs of age (wear and tear). But nothing bad, we had a good time and would come back."

"Really run down, wood Wedge under toilet, I had to fix the chain in the toilet tank so it would flush, no peak hole on door, flat pillows, sand in our bed when i pulled the blankets back, towel rack in bathroom broken, window blind broken, room door had to be slammed several times to get it shut and shoved to get it open after code put in everytime we went in or out, Only 3 of us staying and wanted to rent lawn chairs. $45 for 2. We only needed 3 chairs but they wouldnt seperate them for rent...

"Everyone knows about the elevators ! So I won’t complain much about them , But I would say some of the staff was a bit rude , I blew it off most the time but I wish they wouldn’t have the attitudes they had . We had a really good bartender Jameson ! He was fast & got us in & out ! The staff at the Alabama ice Cream shop were also Great ! Got us in & out as well , super friendly! Definitely recommend coming to Laketown Wharf"
