"It was our annual family getaway and Mercure Penang Beach ticked off most of the checkboxes except a few! The room was great with a fantastic view of the sea. A nice pool and the beach just in front was wonderful. However, we faced few issues with service. On the first day after the check-in, they seemed to have misplaced our luggage. "This is a great place for a family to stay for a family holiday (we stayed for 3 weeks). Modern, clean and safe. Each room has own on-suite bathroom. They clean twice a week, which is great! There is a convenience shop at the bottom of the hotel, a lovely pool, a beach with beach sports (company called Seafarers - great guys and I would recommend them any day). Overall, the comfort of the hotel apartments helped make this one of our best family holidays ever. I would go back if I ever come back...
