"It’s a great little hotel in a very quiet part of Kyoto. If you wish to get away from all the crowds and just experience how the locals live, this is a hotel for you. We had a room with a private onsen bath, which was just perfect at the end of all the sightseeing. Special thanks to the staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel very comfortable. "Clean rooms of decent size for Japan, located conveniently by the metro and easy to grab a a taxi via taxi app. The staff were both kind and cordial and responded to queries with good recommendations. Hyatt Place also had one of the best breakfasts I have had with a nice variety of options."

The staff was friendly and accommodating, particularly Riku who helped us fix a malfunctioning AC unit in our room. Overall it was an incredibly lovely experience and we would definitely come back."

"This was our favorite hotel on our trip and I was actually sad that we only got to stay for one night until continuing onto our next spot. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast at the cafe was tasty. We had forgotten a blanket in the room after checkout and contacted the staff. They were very helpful and were able to send it in the mail to our next hotel! Above and beyond service!"

"The check in was easy and the reception staff was helpful and accommodating they even provided a shuttle for us and our luggage to the hotel as it is in a different location. They will even hold your luggage if check in is not ready. Hotel room was nice and clean and a bus stop was right outside. Highly recommend!!! "
