"Exceptional!! It's a challenge to express how wonderful this property is. Tucked away in a small street behind closed gates, we were told to 'press the buzzer and we will come an let you in'. As the gates opened we were welcomes by vast formal gardens and stunning architecture. It didn't stop there - our room was fabulous with it's own small terrace, huge bathroom with double sink and walk in shower. "This is not a normal hotel and is great for travelers looking for a unique experience “Adjusted” to unique experience it was fabulous. A great hotel for people that are self sufficient, comfortable with unknown, but bad for people that book through regular hotels using points or needing immediate and highest end service. Great balance of premium, special, eclectic, with autonomy for experienced travelers."

"We enjoyed having 3 separate beds/rooms for us and each of our boys. The kitchen area worked well for breakfast and keeping drinks cold. The check in and Numa app worked smoothly for entering the building and room. And the bag storage and access a for the day we checked out allowed us to see a few more sights before departure. The only negative is that the a/c was not working in the main room. It was more like a fan."

My only reservation about full top marks would be the access from the street. It's in an old building, old style Florence, so you have to pass through 2 doors/gates through a somewhat rough and old looking main building lobby entrance, which is not nearly as nice as the hotel inside and the elevator is slow, very...

"Really beautiful property and wonderful room. Hotel is immaculately clean and we thought the hotel had been renovated to a beautiful finish. We let the hotel know we were staying for our 10 year anniversary, and a bottle of Prosecco was left in our room with a note, which was extremely kind. A great location to stay in, just across the river. Passcode is provided for front door so can come and go as please. Have booked to stay in again in October!"
