"We were only in Oban for one night, but this place would have suited our needs for a longer stay. The bed was comfortable but the couch was not. The bathroom was not as clean as it could have been, there were scuffs and fingerprints on the door and walls. The shower was small and we had trouble with water pressure and temperature. The breakfast, however, was amazing for the price!"

"This place needs an overhaul. I rented three rooms here. One had beds likely from the 70's, incredibly uncomfortable. A shower that dripped constantly, we had to lay the sprayer down in the tub to be able to sleep. The hot water in two of the rooms never got hot. We waited for 30 minutes and took cold showers. And I am not one of those people that didn't just adjust the valve right or something. These were legitimately cold. One of the rooms had a paper thin mattress pad, that helped slightly. Worst beds I've ever slept on. It was at the end of the walkable street and quiet enough. Lots of dining down the street about .5 miles. We weren't going to risk the restaurant after reading other reviews. "

"My husband was locked in the bathroom due to a faulty door lock and had to be freed by staff. I also reported a wall light fitting hanging loosely from the bedroom wall. Very worrying lack of maintenance and safety checks."
