"Very good location. Good access to restaurants for dinner and beach bars for lunch. Breakfast was fine. Rooms are clean. Water is not drinkable and sometimes smells. Property is very strict, only 1 espresso pod per person per night. Only one beach towel and it needs to be exchanged via towel card. Also no outside food or drinks on the beach chairs. The ocean view rooms, ocean view is marjinal."

"This was our first time staying on the French side, at Esmeralda. Overall, it is a decent resort; it consists of small villages, each containing four guest rooms. The rooms themselves are spacious and clean, and every village shares a swimming pool among its four units. The resort grounds feature a French restaurant serving very delicious food. "We really wanted to leave a good review of Villa du Kapress because the staff were so lovely and overall the villa is really nice, we also had one of our best meals here while we were on St.Maarten.
