"When we checked in we were offered a better room with the same view for the same price. This location is right within walking distance to the Empire State Building (about 20 min), theaters (about 5-10 min) and the subway and Central Park. Will definitely stay again!"

"The location is great. Near Port Authority and of course right on 42nd st about a block or two from the hustle of Times Square. It was my first time trying out the Pod hotel franchise and it was a good experience over all with the hotel itself. On our second day, the room next door decided to smoke in their room and it filled my room up with the smell of cigarettes. You are literally down the block from Time Square so you have so many restaurants and shops around you. We really enjoyed their late-check out option. "Reasonably priced ( total rarity) and worth at least 3 stars for that alone. It's what it is in Manhattan. Tiny room but it provides ALL you'll need. Including a couple cold waters and chips and NO ONE does that. Super clean. Close to EVERYTHING. Staff was ok; stayed out of way. And that's very cool. I've stayed in a half dozen or so hotels in Manhattan in the last year or so and This place is the sole hotelier that didn't monkey with the charges trying to gouge me. Sad but true. Props to...
