"We had a three nights’ stay, which was perfect and memorable for all the right reasons. We stayed at Lloyd overlooking the gardens, which was incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean. The quality of the food was exceptional - be it breakfast, dining in the restaurant or just snacks in the cafes - fresh, presented well and delectable. "We booked to stay as it was near to Wadhurst Castle where we were attending a wedding. The room was The Yew and Eye. Spotlessly clean and a lovely area out the front to sit and enjoy a drink. Very quirky but charming. The welcome at reception and talk through in the room was excellent. The young lady even took a few moments out of her very busy day to give us a brief history of the pub. The bar was busy but well staffed. Breakfast was ample , fresh and most welcome"
