"The hotel was plain, nothing too exciting or remarkable, but the staff made it a pleasant stay and they were kind. The elderly gentleman who welcomed us made sure we got breakfast at 5am because we had to leave early for a flight. "

"Very good situated. Easy access to city centre , few minutes walk from train station . Good variety of food for breakfast and very clean. Would recommend if wanting a reasonable price for a city break . Will use again. "

"Likes - checking-in was easy and check-in staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious enough. Breakfast was buffet-style and had adequate choices for my needs. There is a good bus service into Edinburgh city centre. Dislikes - my room overlooked the neighbouring restaurant so early evening was a bit noisy. "

"We loved our stay. It’s basic, beds were comfortable and shower was great. Huge breakfast options included in our stay and was cheap! Bus right out the front but a taxi service was available through the front desk. £8 to the heart of Edinburgh. But can be walked in about 35 mins. Will definitely stay here again "

"Perfect. No Notes. I can't say enough good things about our stay at The Raeburn. I would call it a small boutique hotel with a restaurant, where we dined twice... each meal was delicious, especially the Raeburn burger. Both the hotel & dining staff was friendly & helpful. The room was beautiful, clean & QUIET! I can't emphasize enough how quiet the room was for the location in the city... really great. We opted out of housekeeping for a day, but they still left a little basket with water, snacks...
