"The best place to stay in Canterbury with breathtaking views of the Cathedral. The hotel is a nice place, very clean and a delicious breakfast. On the downsize the rooms are very small, mostly the Queen bed compared to American standard. The staff is helpfull but don't seem very profesional. Looks like they are on a learning capacity. "

"From the warm welcome on arrival to the helpful and friendly check out we had a lovely overnight stay. The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The attic room is spacious and clean with a very comfy bed. The location is perfect for a walk along the seafront to the restaurants and bars. "Lovely home made cooked breakfast to order. We were in the suite room lovely living space, futon bed was a little uncomfortable but memory foam used so may just be us. Everywhere was very clean, nice tea and coffee, decor and a well laid out bathroom. Was quite noisy in the morning and could hear breakfast being laid and noise from upstairs bedroom with people walking around. Overal a lovely stay and very friendly owner. "

"The woman I spoke to was kind enough to let me check in several hours early, and I was upgraded to an absolutely GORGEOUS room and full bathroom including large bath and separate bidet. The location was fantastic; close to the middle of town and the local beach, quick walk (though very steep) to the castle, in between walks to the white cliffs in either direction. She also let me leave my bags late while I explored more before leaving for the cruise port. All in all, one of the most beautiful...

"In over 30 years of travelling on business, this is one of the best places I have stayed in.Although I did not meet the owners it was clear that the accommodation was well looked after and virtually everything had been thought of for the comfort of their guests. Virtually everything was absolutely spotlessly clean.The only small point I noticed was that there was dirt around the toilet seat hinge - a bit of a dirt trap and difficult to access(I'm sounding like a "Four in a Bed" contestant...
