"We liked the place. Lots of things to see and take pics of. Price was good for San Francisco. We thought we would pay more but glad they are not greedy people. Very kind and funny staff. Breakfast selection was good. The only thing i would have like to have was scrambled eggs not just hard boiled eggs but all in all loved the whole experience and would go back again. "

"I came to San Francisco for 3-days. I prefer hotels with character and history and the hotel met my expectations. The room was incredibly spacious and charming. The bed was comfortable. The morning breakfast was filling. Kenny the evening bartender was personable. We walked our way around the city and returned every night exhausted so didn’t spend a lot of time on-site. Highly recommend."

"The staff were great, very helpful and kind. The property is fine if you just need a place to sleep at night and plan to be out during the day. I had a room with two double beds, but it was quite small, and it felt crowded with multiple people. The mattresses were not very comfortable. Overall, though, it was worth the price and the location and free parking included. "

"Unfortunately we did not get a good nights rest. The sound barrier between rooms are super poor! The people above us kept us up all damn night. We could hear every foot steps taken and a bunch of other loud noises. We had to keep the tv and fan on to try to block the noises but that did not work. The rooms were ok cleanliness wise but could be better as far as updating the paint on the Walls and doors."

"Overall okay, the main issue was that one of the other members throughout the night would just pass gas and talk in their sleep. Another person just changed right in the open. Place is clean though."

"Great decor, close to the concert venue our son was going to. Parking was a bit difficult so we had to circle around a few times until the front desk guy came out and explained it was confusing. We appreciated him taking time off to explain how to find public parking since their parking lot was full. "

"I return several times a year to the Laurel Inn. It's safe, clean and comfortable and I love being in this part of the city. "

"Overall it’s average. Shower pressure was really low and it took a while to get hot water. Our room was next to the busy street and heard so much traffic noise. Sink was too small to wash face."
