"Coffee guys, Sham, was super helpful and very polite. Most other were also nice but the person at check in treated us like a time share pitch to buy tours and shamed us for not wanting to book their overpriced tours. Bought an airport pickup and they did not show up and we had to get a taxi. Rat in the room - wife freaked but thankfully we were checking out."

"This little inn turned out to be great. I wish there was an elevator, but at least someone else carried our bags to the 3rd floor. The room was large, the a/c and shower worked fine, the rooftop ( a few stairs above 3rd floor) was excellent and on par with some of the other ‘pyramids hotels’ in Giza. Breakfast was ok, you could either sit in glassed in room with a/c or out in the open. Coffee was great. I loved that they had a dinner menu for our first jetlagged night and of course a view of the pyramids. Mohammed the manager was helpful to plan your stay and ask if you needed a private driver. All in all , cerycomdoetable. I loved it!."

"super location. Book a balcony room overlooking the pyramids. Good for 2 and possibly 3. Entrance to giza plateau a short walk away. Great roof deck for breakfast and dinner and other options nearby. Restaurant serves alcohol which is not the case for all hotels nearby, Safe neighborhood but lots of verndors pushing to see their shops. Just walk by and say thank you and move on. "

"Deceptive photos, hidden fees, and poor hygiene – do not recommend I travel often and have never encountered such a gap between online reviews and reality. This hotel feels like a surface level setup hiding serious issues. What went wrong: · Hidden fees – I already paid in advance, but was charged extra upon arrival with no prior notice. · WiFi – Almost non existent. · TV – Only local channels; no streaming services. · Noise – Zero soundproofing. I could hear everything from outside even with door and window closed. · View – Paid for a "garden view" but got a dirty alley and adjacent building. · Breakfast – Completely misrepresented. The photos online are not from their actual breakfast. · Cleaning – Bed sheets and blanket unchanged for 12 days. Floors were swept but nothing was wiped down (including the bathroom). Bathroom barely touched. · Water – No water for two days during my stay, mind you this is a dessert so it’s dusty here. · Missing amenities – No snack bar, no spa. The only positives: · The restaurant has a great view. · A couple of staff members were nice. Bottom line: Looks good online, but once you arrive and turn on the lights, the truth shows. I felt scammed and will not return. "

"When we arrived, we were honestly a little surprised by how positive the reviews had been. Our first impression wasn’t amazing. We actually asked to change rooms so we could have what we had expected which was a front-facing room with a balcony, as the view looked much nicer. The staff were incredibly accommodating and arranged this for us straight away. However, we quickly discovered that Cairo never really sleeps. The noise from the street carried on throughout the night and we barely slept, so the next morning we asked to move back to our original rooms instead. But again they really didn’t mind and dealt with our request. Recommend you taking the back twin room if you need a quiet room. It’s large and has a decent bathroom. Breakfast was simple but perfectly fine. There was a selection of cheese, sliced meats, bread rolls, fruit, coffee, and juice each morning. Nothing overly fancy, but enough to start the day. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the staff. Every member of the team we dealt with was genuinely warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. They were welcoming from the moment we arrived, happy to help with requests, and created such a lovely atmosphere that it completely changed our overall impression of the hotel. The customer service was honestly the best part of the experience and probably the reason so many people leave such positive reviews. We felt so welcome we are definitely going back at some point. "Had a lovely short stay at the hotel. The staff were very curteous and helpful and would go beyond to assist. Got a free transfer to the hotel. Fascinating view of the pyramids while in the rooftop pool or having a meal or even from my room. And it’s 1/10th of the price of the hotel where I initially intended to. It looked empty and I’m sure services would improve if it was busy."

"This hotel is the perfect base to explore the Pyramids at Giza and Saqqara. We used their personalised entrance service to go directly to the pyramids without the usual entrance way which was nice - it’s not a glamorous entrance mind, but it’s very convenient. We also added the additional tour guide option which made exploring the site much more efficient as well as learning a few extra nuggets of local knowledge and historical insight. The hotel itself is tucked away from the rest of Cairo in its own compound so was surprisingly quiet. The grounds themselves are well maintained with lovely lawns and water features for the birds. The food was good, though if you’re vegan the lunch menu was poor. That being said, the tomato sauce and pasta was actually the best I’ve had pretty much anywhere so that’s a plus! The Indian restaurant on site however had amazing vegan options and we ordered too much because the portion sizes were pretty big! The room itself was clean and tidy and had everything we’d need - but the internet connection is terrible. Better to rely on your own 5G connection."
