However, I felt very uncomfortable with a few staff members who seemed annoyed, spoke rudely, or behaved in a dismissive way. This is not a criticism of all the staff. Unfortunately, despite many things being good, I don’t think I would visit again. It’s a shame. "Overall, lovely hotel and in a great location in the town centre. Spa and pool are the highlight. Room was comfy and fresh, think we had a updated room which was nice. It did however lack coat hooks and places to hang wet robes and towels...a basic that's missing. Breakfast was ok, it didn't quite hit expectations. Could have done with a few more hot options. Would definitely recommend. "

"We enjoyed staying at the Derby Swiss Quality Hotel. It is very close to the train station and has a nice view of the mountains. The staff is friendly, and breakfast is served on time with a nice variety of options. The hotel is very close to the Coop grocery store. "

"This was a FANTASTIC stay in Grindelwald, the location was perfect, the room was clean and spacious, great restaurants and bars around with good access to public transport. Parking and breakfast was a great added bonus! We paid extra for a Mountain View and it was well worth it. The staff were so so helpful, they gave us recommendations, were accommodating and friendly during breakfast, check-in and checkout. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone travelling to Grindelwald. "
