"The Speakeasy Inn is in a good location on Duval Street, although it is many blocks from the area around Mallory Square... it is closer to the Southernmost Point buoy and Hemmingway House. The hotel staff was great ( especially Nicole) so checkin was a breeze. The bar staff seemed indifferent and the drinks were good but high-priced, but since you could hang out on the porch and have a front-row seat to Duval St. it was worth it. The room we had was on ground level so it was nice to go in/out...

Stayed in owner’s suite, nice large room, kitchen was lacking a bit in some basics, but ultimately we weren’t there long enough to really matter. We had a great stay, would highly recommend for charm and location. "

"Overall, we had a great time at The Palms. We stayed for seven nights for a wedding. Definitely not the swankiest of places to stay but the pool and bar were nice and the room was comfortable, though not super updated. It’s a little more central but it we never waited more than 2 minutes for a $10 Uber ride to the busier areas. The staff was nice especially the bartender. My only warning is don’t expect an early check in. If you arrive before 3pm they’ll make you wait."

"The room was adequate and beds comfy for a short stay. It's on the quiet end of Duval street, so close enough to walk around, but not in the middle of the madness of the party crews. It's a converted old house, so there are some oddities. The check-in was not in the same location, but quite a walk away at an office on Duval street where there is no parking to take your car there. This was not made clear, or I did not read that anywhere prior to arrival. Bathroom and hot tub are both looking...
