"The Carton house is about 45 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Dublin. The grounds are lovely. The walk to Town is about 30 minutes and well worth it as there are other historical sites to visit in the town. The interior of the Carton house is modern but historical features remain throughout. "We stayed in the carriage house and a friend stayed in castle. Both were great. Breakfast was fantastic and we had a great meal at the golf restaurant. I love running, and there are some great country roads nearby to walk or run. "
