"This is a relatively small hotel in a good location handy for Kings Cross. But the thing that sets it apart is the attention to detail. My room was adequate sized with a little kitchen which was a surprise, but it was fitted with a great little fridge, great coffee machine and even had freshly make cucumber sandwiches on arrival. "Excellent location if arriving by train at Kings Cross but also very quiet inside the hotel. The rooms and furnishings are beautiful and the breakfast room is a delight as was the food itself. The hotel does have an unusual layout though, some of the side lounges look lovely but aren’t very accessible, I’d have liked to see drinks served in those areas from the posh cocktail bar but it didn’t seem to be open: maybe you can but nobody told us? "Location was great - heaps of groceries stores right outside and really close to the bus and tube. The apartment was clean and spacious which I liked and good water pressure in the shower. Cons - the bed was quite hard and the shower leaked on the floor (one time flooding into the main room, luckily I had spare towels).
