"Very good "

"Really friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Good atmosphere. Large old building, our room was recently updated and was modernised nicely and spotlessly clean. It was very big but still warm with very large comfy bed and powerful shower. TV & Kettle in the room with normal sachets of tea/coffee etc Good breakfast offering kept warm and you could ask for GF bread, cereal and freshly made scrambled eggs. Nice coffee too. I liked the fact there seemed to be little waste as the offering wasn’t too...

"Hotel was under renovation and their was a fault on the fire alarm panel both mornings which didn't make the stay feel all that safe with the major renovations going on. Their was no curtains over the window you could clearly see where the pole was taken out the extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom so the window was constantly open and didn't look like it could close. After the stay I recieved another bill from the hotel which km disputing through hotels.com as I had paid for the room...

"A very stylish restaurant with rooms with a nice little bar to boot. We enjoyed our one night stay in one of the smaller rooms. The bed was fabulous. Quality linen and such a comfortable mattress. In fact everything was top quality and the room had all you could need, including a nip of whiskey each if you like it. We also appreciated the free water and the pay for mini bar but would have liked some sugar free drinks. Your traditional biscuits on the tea tray might also have been nice. My...

"Niki could not do enough for you. Nothing was a bother. Excellent food and staff. Room was lovely. Excellent location for travellers who would like to explore Auchterarder, Dunblane, Stirling, Bridge of Allan and Gleneagles. Thoroughly recommend."

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was very good."

"As one of the lowest prices within 50 miles of Edinburgh, the Elbow Room far surpassed my expectations. The room was a good size and had a balcony which would have been lovely on a sunny day. The food in the te"

"Staff was amazing and helpful! On-site restaurant - delicious. Plus book your meal as there are no other evening choices in Aberdour."

"Had a great time staying in the hotel. Room was nice and clean and sheets and towels are changed everyday. I love it because it comes with free breakfast even though price was cheap. However, just one thing, the sockets next to the bed are not working and the night light in the bathroom could sometimes flicker. Overall experience was great and there's a nearby place where you can get food."

"Just a one night stay while working in Kirkcaldy, had the superior single room. Due to the stormy weather I couldn’t keep the window open which made the room rather warm. Bed comfy enough, grout in the shower needs a good scrub (I am a cleaner and know what causes this!) and my carpet hadn’t been vacuumed. Other than that can’t complain for the price. Didn’t use any of the facilities so won’t comment. Would I stay here again, yes, if it was as cheap."

"Our room was good and clean with comfy beds, the breakfast was very good and set us up for a day at the darts. the onsite parking was good and convenient"
