"We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. "First off, we weren’t in the main hotel building, so I can’t comment on that other than it looked ok from reception. We were in the row of rooms to the right of of the main entrance, along the main road. A surprisingly noisy main road. The room was spacious, but stank of wet dog. "The room was clean, smart tv in room, staff very helpful, there is a safe an ironing board as well as a hairdryer also plenty of parking. The only faults were the room was always warm that's with radiator turned off, the cold water tap at sink was just a trickle but hot water flowed well, the shower was hot or hotter no cold, there is a small fridge inside a cupboard at dressing table which makes the top warm and the noise from kitchen extractor fan very noisy at times we had to leave our window...

"Loved the patio door in our room leading to the garden outside. Havent had this before and thought it was just lovely. I had my dog with me and he enjoyed being able to go in and out . Hotel room was spacious and staff were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely book again!"
