"The room was spacious and included a sofa plus comfortable bed. Good shower. Staff on the front desk were welcoming and very apologetic, since the wifi was not available until late in the evening of my arrival. Breakfast was very basic and self-service in the entrance hallway. The staff had limited knowledge about local restaurants for evening meals."

"Unique B&B with an amazing warm, outdoor pool and hot tub, (in case it turns cold!) Breakfast a little expensive but very good. Had dinner one night and it was well presented and very tasty (and the prices were a lot more realistic than local pub meals). Rooms are lovely and could only be improved by installing air conditioning, well it was the hottest May on record! J & T"

"Superb hotel full of character. Our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and were very impressed with the choice offered particularly for my husband who is coeliac and has to have gluten free. Every member of staff we engaged with were so polite and friendly. Our stay was an absolute delight."

"I was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel appears to be used by the council to house individuals with drug and alcohol issues, which created an uncomfortable and at times unsafe environment. There were visible burn marks on tables consistent with drug use, and noise levels were high at all hours of the day and night. Local businesses even confirmed this is an ongoing issue. Unfortunately, this made it impossible to relax or get proper rest, and I would not choose to stay here again."
