"Personal choice but didn't like the evening menu choices and breakfast was good if poached eggs were cooked better. Mine still had the clear egg slime on them. Staff were brilliant even down to the housekeeping. Room we had was really lovely, modern and a good size. Lots of space in bathroom and a great shower. Free parking was a real bonus. Really enjoyed our weeks stay at golden fleece hotel"

"I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. "

"Castle House B&B is perfectly located right in the centre of Richmond. It is a lovely elegant Georgian property (c1809), full of charm and history with an inviting lounge to meet other guests. The breakfasts are exceptional, catering from light buffet to full English. Our room (Redmire) is probably the smallest (on first floor), but ample enough for a three days stay. Bathroom and carpets could do with a refresh, which have been done to the other rooms (but clean enough not to affect our short...
