"WARNING STAY AWAY: One step away from a scam!! I booked this property in advance as part of a larger vacation itinerary. There was NOTHING in the listing that said anything about being required to contact the property in advance for check in. A couple of days before check in I received an automated email saying that I was confirmed. "We were checked in quickly. All hotel staff was very friendly, including the restaurant and bar staff and receptionists. The room wa clean and had a gorgeous view! Plus the sauna and hot tub outside? Perfect for a couple! Would recommend!"

"What a fantastic property! We felt right at home. Reasons to stay are the breakfast, the solarium with radiant flooring and potential views of the aurora borealis, the radiant flooring in the bathroom, and the hospitality of the staff. This place was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The wifi worked well in most areas. We did not try out the hot tub and sauna, but I bet they are fun!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Grimsborgir by Keahotels. The rooms were spacious, modern, and very comfortable, and the outdoor hot tubs made the experience even more relaxing. Hot tub water was a bit too hot so be careful with that. Bathrobes and slippers were nice addition. "A nice relaxing hotel in a convenient location, not too far from The Geothermal Park Hveragerð, Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River, and the Kerið Crater. A pool and hot tub are available. Breakfast had plenty of varieties of hot items and pastries. A small community park with a waterfall, neighborhood shops, cafes and food hall are also within walking distance."
