"My 5th time of staying here and a very different experience to all previous visits. I travel with for work so being able to work from the room is extremely important. I always choose to stay here as the rooms are clean, well proportioned and there is usually a desk or table and chair to work from. On this visit I was allocated Room 6. Although it is classed as a double room it was tiny (you would struggle with 2 people in there) There was a small dressing table but no chairs. Hardly any plug...

"Well laid out room. Perfect for my wife and I. Could do with more tea bags and milk and sugar but, thats a personal thing. Very comfy nights sleep and good choice of breakfasts to choose from. Courteous staff and attentive. Handy having a Toby Carvery opposite too."

"What a lovely place to stay! Stayed here for a night for work nearby. The room was pretty, the bed super comfortable, the temperature lovely and cosy, the bathroom toiletries and bed linens all super high quality. Wi-Fi was strong and meant I could work. But best of all, they really had thought of everything in the room… a thoughtful and plentiful hamper of breakfast items and treats; a mini fridge with fresh milk, juice, water, fruit and chocolate; a hairdryer; and even a pretty stone coaster...

"We spent five nights staying at the property with our dog. We had a great time! The staff were great, food was excellent and it was a nice location for local walks. We also charged our car using the EV charger on site, which was great. Great value overall! "

"We stayed in this property for 5 days (December 11 to 16). On checking out, we asked for the total fee for our parking our vehicle for the 5 nights. We were told it costs £8 a night and to pay using the machine at the gate. We did. We paid £40 for the 5 nights. We got home, and received a £60 "fine" for parking at this hotel, even though we paid, we have the receipt and it shows in our credit card. We got another £60 admin fee charged by our car rental company to our card for this same...

"Check in very easy Reception staff extremely helpful All areas very clean Shame about the weather for golf but obviously not down to the hotel but did manage to get 9 holes played Left feeling very relaxed and refreshed "

"First time staying and we were impressed. Rooms are spacious and clean. Having a bath in our family room would have been better for our younger children. The receptionist was very helpful, welcoming and friendly! The restaurant food was good. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice. Great for both adults and children.
