"Lobby area and breakfast area were well laid out. Room met our needs, air con worked well, shower was good. We used the fitness room too which was good size and not too busy. Chose to add on breakfast which had good variety. All staff very friendly. Would recommend."

"My Wife and I stayed for one night only with an Afternoon Tea booked for 2pm that day. Despite us arriving and a notifying staff of our presence at 12.45pm our Afternoon Tea did not arrive until 2.30pm. Apparently the kitchen staff were "very busy". When it did arrive, other than the scones and jam/cream, the Afternoon Tea was very basic with limited sandwiches and and an assorted selection of cheesecake only. The staff were apologetic about the delay but that was all. Similarly, at Breakfast...

"The location to the sea, the bus and coffee shops all worked in our favor. And the breakfast!!! Delicious with hreat variety. The staff was helpful with cabs, questions and safeguarding our bags after check out. Highly recommended location."

"A lovely stay in a grand old seafront building. A little rough around the edges where the building is showing its age but not in a particularly off putting way. Stylish decor in common areas, spacious family room for 3 of us. Amenities a little older and more basic (a fan instead of aircon, open rails instead of wardrobes, slightly older carpet with a few stains etc), but all clean and functional. Lovely breakfast with a beautiful view, and kind helpful staff."

"This was our first stay at Hotel du Vin Brighton, and it exceeded my expectations. It was a really nice hotel, clean and very quiet. Drinks in the bar, where also really good and staff where very polite and helpful."

"The room was in a great location and accessed by keypad so no key needed. Pre-check-in was done online that everything was easy. The room as well located on the High Street and close to places we wanted to visit. The room was very clean, spacious and decorated beautifully. The bed was comfortable with lovely white crisp in. Plenty of hot drinks and orange juice and porridge provided. The over bath shower was fine but could have been better in terms of power and heat. The plumbing in this room...

"The hotel was just a short walk from the beach front and a number of restaurants and cafes. The hotel itself was nicely decorated, check in was a breeze. The room was a little compact but comfortable. I had data issues in my room."

"Nicely decorated and very clean, cramped and cold though. In a fairly grubby part of town. Very overlooked by other buildings into room. Staff assistance was prompt but there is no in person presence. Quiet at night and good black out blinds. "

"Overall I enjoyed the stay. Very comfy bed and linens, big windows with a great ocean view. Took a couple baths in the big tub. It's in a very old building so you have to appreciate the character but I do and it's well appointed."
