The reception staff were absolutely lovely, and couldn't be more helpful, especially Sophie. There was a good choice of food at breakfast. The barman was perfectly polite, but I got the impression from the two nights I was staying there that he really didn't want to be there. :-( Overall, this was a great stay. "

"Overdelivered in every respect. From check in where our dogs were welcomed with their own beds and hamper, to a delicious dinner in a lovely atmosphere, followed by a night in an incredibly comfortable bed and a top notch breakfast.....we loved it all."

The muck in the corners of the entranceway, hallways and bar was particularly problematic. The staff was amazing, as was the service and food!!"
