"I think of a Ritz Carlton as an over the top experience but I feel the Amelia Island Ritz is underwhelming. With all resort fees, parking cost etc., the nightly room charge was $1400. That is no food or activity charges. We were disappointed their “Salt” restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday so did not get to eat there. Other eating options are fine but not special by any means."

"Pet friendly, easy walk to beach with chairs and towels provided! Very comfortable bed, good sized room but bathroom needs updating. Minimal water pressure in the shower. Nice lobby area and nice breakfast buffet included! This is a Hilton property but was advertised as a Hampton Inn when booking. "

"Pool is not heated. Staff was excellent. Room was clean and hotel well maintained but Toilets never brushed under rims left odor in bathroom. Internet room door was severely damaged it looked like it was broken into. I would say this hotel is a good choice if you are not looking to swim. Breakfast was above average and this is a nice hotel. But check in could not make keys so it took 15 minutes to make keys. "The front desk at check in and check out was rude with zero personality for her position .... The room was furnished with cheap "yard sale" pieces...The view was obscured by the window that haven't been cleaned in who knows how long....The breakfast was basic cheap quality bacon, cheap sausage , premixed scrambled eggs and the coffee machine is ridiculous ...Yes, I was very disappointed especially for the price paid ....Cheap motel vibe !"

"We enjoyed our stay at Springhill for one night. The location is amazing and we were able to easily walk to the beach. Our room was clean and we had plenty of space. The only disappointment was that the shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower were completely empty…. Zilch. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. "

The property has some wear and tear that will probably need repairing eventually, but still clean and functioning. Location was EXCELLENT; the beach was visible and within walking distance from the hotel. Nice park, mini golf, restaurant and gas station all within walking distance. "

"Quaint B&B nestled in a quaint town. Building is historic therefore room was a little on the small size however the other spaces on property made the room only necessary for sleeping. Mattress could use upgrade. Staff is exceptional! Breakfast was adequate. Definitely planning a return visit when we can stay longer."
