"Absolutely awful. Filthy, dusty, dated and smelly in the hallway. We couldn’t find another hotel to move to so had to stay, I didn’t get into the bed but covered it and the pillows with my own towels. The door wouldn’t lock so we had to wedge a chair underneath the handle. Run down and dilapidated. Bathroom disgraceful and mouldy. "Lovely modern hotel in centre of Guildford and easy walking distance of local sights, shops restaurants etc. Good that had parking available at reasonable cost. Outdoor terrace and spa facilities looked good although didn’t use spa. Only stayed 1 night but would happily stay again and longer in future."

"Great location for is, we stayed last year, some of the Pennine equipment is old, both our TV and iron were broken when we arrived, but the staff were very prompt in exchanging both items"

"Staff were very friendly and helpful upon check-in. Room was comfortable. Only downside, the staff member who served me in starbucks was very rude but didn’t affect my overall experience."

"There were build works outside by terrace overlooking lake with cement mixer and angle grinder cutting stone most of the day the Saturday I was there . Not the best idea with patrons sitting there by temporary plastic tape eating and drinking . Perhaps a fencing of sorts to obscure the works ?"

"I had a good stay. The things that brought to my attention is the room a bit smelly when you enter. I had an air conditioner in my room but unfortunately it wasn’t maintained properly as it doesn’t breathe nicely. Also the aircraft noise is attractively noticeable but all of that in my opinion comparing with other stayed it was ok"
