"My first impressions were very positive as the hotel is in a great location in Maidenhead and only a short walk to a variety of restaurants and eateries both chain and independent. The parking area is quite extensive allowing more than enough room for hotel and restaurant guests. "This used to be my school until 1982 and it has been lovingly restored into a beautiful hotel with great amenities in amazing grounds. Ample parking and a safe environment leads to a peaceful and relaxing stay. "

"Great location, great price "

"Parking was easy, however I wasn't driving. The room was adequately cool, no need for AC."

"2 day stay . Very bad smelling room even after 2 days with window open. Its clearly been lived in by a smoker and a sock was still covering the smoke detector. Really uncumfortabke beds and dirty stained sheets and matress. No lamps no cups, spoon or coffee. Even had to tune the telly myself. Very strange types walking around the corridors would not recomend. Staff were nice enough when i spoke to them. Im not the complaining type so just loughed if off as a bad experience never to be repeated....

"We are vegetarian so the breakfast menu was ok but not that vast for us. There were still great options. The staff were friendly and helpful. I think the rooms were clean but needed a bit of an upgrade in terms of things looking a bit old. Overall we had a great stay."

"Friendly staff that couldn’t do enough to accommodate. I stayed while working nightshifts and they would organise to service the room outside of normal hours always checking if I needed towels tea coffee etc. I have stayed multiple times and will definitely stay again "
