"Great hotel and pub"

"Staff were lovely - reception, bar and restaurant The food was pretty good - fish beautiful, steak cooked well, sauces full of flavour - just chocolate fondant sadly overdone. I love the chilled & sparkling water tap! However, rooms are looking very tired, old and in need of a refurb. Better pillows, USB ports and adding some soundproofing would be good too On the whole great service, food & drinks but poor rooms and sleep quality "

"Not the friendliest of welcomes. A meeting cancellation meant I arrived early but I wasn't allowed to check in. The staff I encountered throughout my stay were distant and aloof. Signage around the sprawling site was poor so I ended up wandering around to find various amenities. For the positives, the room was clean and the breakfast was good quality "

" A good, clean, and welcoming hotel in a beautiful London neighborhood, well-connected and with the tube nearby. Since we were on the third floor, I expected help carrying our bags up because I no longer have the energy of a girl, but my children were there to help me. Otherwise, everything was fine.Thanks from our family."

"If I could give negative stars I would. First off when we got in the room, there was a lizard inside the bathroom. When staff came in to see they killed it and left with part of the tail on the ground moving. Horrific. When we went downstairs to request a different room the charger port station wasn’t working at all. So went back to request another room. All the rooms they gave us were old and smelled funky. The person in the front tried her best to help but I would’ve appreciated a room upgrade...

"I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations in several areas. Room Cleaning & Housekeeping: After returning from breakfast, I found that although my room had been “cleaned,” there was rubbish left on the floor and the bed had been made very poorly, as if rushed. When I asked the maid about the rubbish, the response was vague and I was told it was “already there,” which made little sense. The maid did eventually remove the rubbish and attempted...
