"The hotel itself was nice but when we got into our room it was not cleaned well at all. We then got switched to another room but it did not include what I paid for and that room was also not properly cleaned so we then had to be switched again for the third time to another room that they intentionally cleaned prior to moving us."

"Like the room we get on the 4th floor. Staff is always friendly and helpful. As well as the maid service.. very nice and accommodating. Everything was excellent and on time.. one thing..the lighting in the bathroom is not that great..wish that could be better..but not a deal breaker..or the full length mirror should have a light on it.. as well.. otherwise fantastic stay..we stay here twice a year!!!"

"When we arrived at 3pm to check in there was no one at the desk for over 15 min with no indication of where they went or would be back. Multiple guests were waiting. They charge $9 for parking, which is absurd considering what we paid for the rooms. This is a converted motel and the quality of the renovations is very poor in relationship to the price. Paint was chipping on all the walls, mildew on the caulk in the bathtub, dust and mildew built up on the louvres of the air conditioner, ironing...

"The AC was not functioning and no one was notified after booking to give people an opportunity to rebook somewhere else. My room was then switched to a room with a portable AC unit that was duck taped to the window and kept falling off. The window had to be opened the entire time which let in a bunch of noise. However it was clean and the balcony and courtyard was well maintained. The food in the restaurant wasn’t the best either but it was quick for a small kitchen."

"The hotel is in a beautiful location, and some of the newer rooms are much more comfortable than the older ones. However, the price is higher than what the overall experience justifies. The common areas could be better maintained, particularly the hot tub, which was not as clean as expected. The service was average and did not consistently meet the standards one would expect at this price point."

"The staff really are the hidden gems of this modest hotel. They adjust breakfast hours, hold mail, and will do anything to make your stay better. The hotel is old, there are flies if you leave your window open, and the cable is iffy. But the staff gets five stars."
