"I stayed at this villa for 2 short nights with my wive and 13yr old son. Generally we're all satisfied with the services, the facilities and above all, the location, but no view and access to the beach. The pool is little bit small for my overbuilt son. If there is anything we complain about is that the whole property is bit too old and worn out, but well maintained. It definitely need some face-lifts here and there."

"I would not stay here again. The villa smelled musty, and there was something living in the ceiling - possibly a large lizard. There were three buildings behind the locked gate of my "villa," each with a bedroom/bathroom combo, and one with living area and kitchen with an upstairs balcony that was open to the elements - bugs, mosquitos, critters. I reserved a one bedroom with private pool. The living area and kitchen were located in another building, as mentioned above, and I did not use it....

"The property is not what it looks like in the photos online. We stayed in the 3 bedroom unit. It is open and you can lock the downstairs lounge as there is no key. The upstairs is completly open and we had to have all doors locked to keep the air conditioning in and the constant burning/smoke out, as well as mosquitoes and bugs. If someone were to climb over the brick wall that had footholds they could enter your bedrooms. The villa is modern but just not functional. The shower has open brick...

"We checked in late at night, found the floor are dusty and dirty. There were no slippers provided, we walked around the room bare feet on the dusty floor. It seemed that there were only 1 person on duty that night, he offered to mop the floor. The whole room was dirty and dusty, we were sneezing a lot. At the end of our stay, the water in the shower came out black and sandy. Ellora need to improve their service and cleanliness"

"Great hotel. Adults only pool. Do as much as want or as little as you want. Great $10 massages on the beach beside hotel gardens. When to this hotel 4 times now and only fault is safe is tucked away in dark cupboard down very low. Difficult to access. Silly thing I know but it’s the only negative I could find."

"Overall, our stay had some positive highlights, particularly the excellent staff and a very enjoyable breakfast experience. However, there were several issues that affected our comfort. We encountered a problem with the air conditioning, and there was water leaking from the bathroom ceiling, which initially made the room feel unclean. Although the staff attended to it and the leakage eventually stopped, the issue was not handled as efficiently or thoroughly as expected. Additionally, contacting the lobby could be challenging, as calls were sometimes not answered promptly. Since we booked two rooms, it was also inconvenient that one of the phones was not functioning. Given that this is an Andaz property, we expected a higher standard of maintenance and responsiveness. On a positive note, the location in Sanur is pleasant and quiet, making it suitable for relaxation. However, the beach area is quite public. A more private setting would have enhanced the experience, as there were street vendors frequently passing by offering services and products. In summary, while there are strong aspects to the property, there is room for improvement in maintenance, responsiveness, and overall guest experience. "
