"We were very happy with the overall quaiity of service and hotel amenities at Double Tree by Hilton Lagoa Azores. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, and was the ideal home base for us. "Had a great stay at this property. Suite had 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, balcony, kitchen, living and eating area. Property was clean and well maintained, including pool, sauna and hot tub. Check in and check out were smooth, breakfast included each day, and was very good. Convenient location and parking also easy in the garage. Staff also very friendly and professional. Would stay again."

"This is a beautiful stay in a very convenient location! Everything is close by and driving to the East side of the island is only an hour. Everything else is even closer! The front desk staff were all exceptional and helped us with directions, recommendations for restaurants and also suggestions on where to go. They were all very kind to us. We loved having a delicious breakfast on the property every morning. We also really enjoyed coming back after the day and having a glass of wine and dinner...

"The rooms were nice and clean. The restaurant food was great, especially the breakfast buffet and the fresh inlets, but the wait staff was not equally as good. They seemed bothered by any request. The pool was not usable. It was dirty with dead bugs floating on the surface. We didn’t see a single person in the pool during our entire visit. "The property and hotel are situated close to the beach and Sunset Grill restaurant. It was clean and modern! The breakfast is delicious and brought to your room every morning. The staff was very helpful and provided information on itineraries for the day or suggestions on what to do! We had a stress-free and vacation because we had such a wonderful place to relax at the end of a busy day touring the island."
