"Stunning place to stay. So much history. The area where the mansion is located is beautiful. The room was nice, the bed was super comfy, hotel staff are fantastic and very eager to help. Breakfast was delicious with many things to choose from. We were even able to order off the menu. We had an issue with the heat, but it was promptly taken care of. We would most definitely stay there again."

"I stayed a total of four nights. Most of the time I spent at this hotel was great. The last night I was there, someone was cleaning the room right next to mine at 10pm and it went until after 11pm!!! The cleaning cart was outside the door so I know it was someone cleaning and they were banging the wall with the broom or mop ( hard floors) or whatever and it would hit the wall so hard and the door would open and close a bunch and then things were hitting the door, etc. I was almost asleep twice...

"Photo used on Expedia is NOT the Hyatt Place lobby or check-in area, but of the high-rise building it is in - check in desk is on level 10 and connected to a tiny poorly-equipped bar with one TV that they could not get to work one night to watch the conference championship NCAA basketball game. There is a large sign that says: "Not owned or operated by Hyatt" which is a red flag. Rooms are old and dated with awful small TVs. "The hotel is absolutely beautiful. From the moment we arrived, Theresa at the front desk was customer service personified. She made us feel as though we were the only guests in the hotel and truly set the tone for a wonderful stay. We also spent time at Sophia’s, where Raye was our bartender. She is fantastic—friendly, attentive, and an absolute pleasure. She made our evenings at the bar even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!"

"My sisters and I enjoyed the location , walking distance to restaurants was wonderful!! The staff was super friendly and accommodating!! On each floor there’s a microwave just in case you need to warm something up and mini fridge in room is very much appreciated!! Great place , will definitely stay there again !! Nicole "

"Tv reception was horrible worst I’ve ever seen. The lighting in the bedroom was like being in a cave. The smoke detector blinked all night long. Laying in bed and looking up at an unfinished ceiling reminded me of being in the fifth grade and throwing spit balls to see if they stuck. "This was an excellent location in that we were able to walk to the Spectrum Center in less than two minutes. The staff was very friendly. I was there celebrating my birthday and was given a gift card to use in house. This is my second time staying here, both times were for events for my birthday and it does not disappoint. "
