Currently they give you a voucher with the length of stay but it only allows 2 phones to be connected? I wanted to use my laptop for work and needed to disconnect one of the phones to use it, plus it’s pretty spotty.

Excellent location for connectivity to the mainland, via the ferries’ jetty, very close to historical sites (eg the Khoo Kongsi), local eateries and to the lively night scene.
Staff are friendly and helpful (special shout out to Nick and Eline). The night staff during my stay could smile more or just offer a warm greeting.

"We booked a standard room but they upgraded it to deluxe room (a nice surprise to ease our tiredness after traveling on a plane) Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, breakfast is very good, room is spacious, overall we loved our stay at East Indies Mansion.
Tip: Don't forget to try the indian restaurant near the hotel (corner of lebuh pinang and lebuh china), their chicken kebab and cheese naan are delicious."

"The worst. Extreme noise after 2 am, loud bar bellow. No one on this property to stop a party at 4 am. No one will answer, when drugged punks harrass you, 15 members bike gang.
Stay away when SW, unsafe!
Very difficult to check in, wrong address given.
No toilet paper. Holes in a walls. Windows do not close, street smog.
Peeling moldy paint on ceilings, broken glass in showers, filthy towel everywhere.
Do not walk bare foot.

"A beautiful room for one night but not really a hotel I’d personally stay again. Friendly staff, but a few of the room amenities were broken like the light bulbs- for the cost I’d rather stay somewhere else but it’s a good location. Also after laundry service I discovered that one of my shirts I just bought is now stained with bleach which can’t be changed. Overall, it was ok but nothing to shout about other than the beautiful aesthetic of the room."

"I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The property is beautiful, but it’s the staff and service that truly set this place apart. Throughout my stay, all the staff were incredibly attentive, helped me find my way around the best local spots, and had the most positive and helpful attitude all round.
The location was also perfectly placed in Georgetown, close to all the tourist spots whilst not being on a busy or noisy road.
