"Good location, but the room we had on the porch, was right by some big dumsters, that were used very frequently all through the night - making a lot of noise.
Room was fine but needed renovation (broken tiles and blinds etc., matress very (too) soft. Staff was nice and offered us the use of pool facilities after our 10 AM check-out and also let us keep the car in the (free) parking for some hours. "

"King room was updated, with comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. However. The balcony was narrow, facing a parking lot, over an open garage with a distant ocean view. No privacy on balcony which was disappointing. No problem with WiFi. Location of hotel was walking distance to Duval street with shopping and restaurants. Although we really enjoyed the beach cafe on site. "

Wine and cheese complementary during happy hour. Basic breakfast. Water and coffee at all times. Close to Duval Street. The front desk was frequently unstaffed and less than friendly when staffed. "

"Property is very nice. We prefer smaller places and the Orchid was a perfect spot. All rooms were ground level. Pool, hot tub, with a cozy and fun little bar with snacks during the day and nice simple breakfast every morning. Staff was very friendly from check in, cleaning staff and the different bartenders. The property is clean, well maintained and decorated very tastefully. Walking distance to so may fun places to eat, shop and find fun experiences. We will be back. "

"No hot water for two showers in the late afternoon; the first day it went cold while I was in there and the next day it was getting warm so I got in, and as soon as I got in, cold again. I called and they said they would check it out. I assume they came the next day, no one communicated with me about it after that. For the exorbitant price I thought they might offer some type of compensation. "

"Great location! Central and walkable to sights, restaurants and everything we wanted. Room was spacious and king bed comfortable. Bathroom was down three steps, otherwise fine. Expected a little more for the money… eg, there was a coffee machine but we had to ask for coffee and it wasn’t replenished. It was very nice coffee though! Bottled water in room would have been good. Overall very clean but we had to wipe out some dusty bits from all drawers. Room was otherwise cleaned very well each day....
