"Breakfast menu and food were excellent and fresh. They also gave us a complimentary light lunch, which was more than what we normally ate. It's 17 minutes easy walk to Nishiki market. Love the touchless elevator button, the tatami mat in the room, and the size of the room was perfect, not too tiny. It's next to the supermarket that we can walk right over for little things like drinks. The Blossom Kyoto was our most favorite hotels during our stay in Japan."

Our rooms were lovely, they had everything we needed . Children loved the free ice creams and the massage chairs were an extra bonus. The hot baths were immaculate condition at all times . "This is a beautiful hotel. I cannot recommend it enough. The location is fantastic. The restaurant is small, but lovely. The staff was very professional. The only thing I didn't like was the spa music in the hall. It's rather loud and fills your hotel room. You're forced to listen to it. It started at 5 AM and woke me up. Thankfully, they shut it off when I asked. It was a bit odd; I paid for the rooms, but my slightly older friend was the one they handed a business card to and consulted. Overall, this is an extraordinary hotel. You're in your own private oasis amid a bustling tourist area. "

"Right across the street from the Nijo station... so it was perfect to catch the train wherever you wanted to go. Loved the shower. My room was on the smaller side but that was fine with us. We were out and about most of the days anyway. I enjoyed the public bath facilities ( separate one for men and women). The water had to be 105 degrees Fahrenheit, it was great. It was relaxing after a day full of walking. My bed was a little hard but I'm very spoiled in my Purple bed at home. Plenty of items for breakfast. Anyway, great location, location, location. "

"It has a great location along the river in Arishyama. It is close to shops and restesturaunts as well. It offers traditional style Japanese rooms and some fantastic traditional dining as well. We asked for a change to our accommodations and staff were very willing to accommodate. Over all would recommend this hotel."
