Very nice hotel, room spacious and amenities very good. Location if you are traveling around very convenient next to train stations. We traveled from Kyoto to Osaka, very easily. Breakfast it’s amazing! I loved matcha coffee. Staff speaks english.Great service in general.

This hotel was a masterclass in how to run a hotel. Clean rooms, a large powerful shower with superb water pressure and a very large and comfortable bed. The air con was easy to work. The bathroom had considerable amounts of shelving and there was plenty of hanging space. A fridge in the room is always great. So many hotels don’t do the basics well - this one certainly does and it was amazing. Great location near a 7-11 and train station too. A perfect base for exploring Kyoto and a fabulous breakfast too. Five stars 🌟

This hotel is a bit far from main attractions but if you are willing to walk or take the bus it’s a great place to stay. The rooms are big and the bed is amazing! The best we had during our stay in Japan. The hotel is close to the Nijo station which is good for some of the sites but most require many changes so we would just walk and enjoy the sites along the way. We also loved the staff and the breakfast was decent. Highly recommend

This property is right beside the Nijo station, a mall with tons of restaurants, and streets filled with more restaurants! Highly convenient as well since it's only a bus ride away to tourist areas such as Nishiki Market, Gion, Kumo River, and all the shrines/temples. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. This property also comes with a laundry area, a public bath, breakfast (for a fee). Rooms are spacious compared to most hotels in Japan. Overall an awesome and convenient property for it's proximity to transportation and restaurants.

Wonderful hotel for a family of four. We booked two rooms next to each other and it was still cheaper than most hotels that take a family of four in one room. The rooms were clean and no smell. Staff was helpful with the check in since the kiosk was a little complicated especially when it is in Japanese.

Convenient to Nijo station which had a taxi rank but not the best location for shopping or attractions. No wine at all, ever, at this hotel. We went next door to the Moxy Hotel each night for the cool bar and food.
