Although a very small hotel, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Also owns the restaurant next door which looks stunning. Would strongly recommend if visiting the palace and temples nearby and only 15 mins drive from Chinatown. "

"Close to all the attractions in old town. Friendly staff. They gave us tea and cookies at check in and cokes and water for the room. Breakfast in the morning. We wanted to leave earlier than it was scheduled for and they made it for us."

"Upfront, this is not 5 star hotel quality accomodation, it is closer to hostel accomodations, being a tied up dive boat. The cabin are big enough for a full size bed, and suitable for two people to do whatever you want to do in a bed. The river quiets down at night and there is no problem at all with sleeping, either for noise or for water movement. The great thing about this accomodation is location. It makes all the sites along the river easily accessible by one form or another of water...

"Aurum The River Place has one of the best locations in Bangkok, right by the river with a stunning view of the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun). The breakfast is excellent, and enjoying it while looking out over the river and the temple makes it even more special.
