"This was an absolutely fantastic hotel. I loved the aesthetic and all of the amenities provided. It was very nice of the staff to provide me with tattoo patches when I hadn't been able to find them so that I could enjoy their onsen. The rooms were in perfect condition and the staff was very accommodating of me trying to communicate in Japanese, switching to very good English when there were words I didn't know or things I didn't know how to say. It's also just a short 20 minute walk from Nara...

"Very close to Todai-ji Temple. Front desk is unmanned but hotel is very easy to use and check in and check out is a breeze. Consider taking bus/taxi from Nara Station as the walk is a little far and uphill but absolutely worth it."

We were very comfortable there and the onsen really rejuveated us after a long day of walking through Nara in rain. Breakfast buffet has a selection of western and japanese cuisine. It was pretty middle standard fare and you opt to eat outside if you have something in mind but it is very convenient and covers a variety of foods people might eat. We...
