"We stayed in Room number one. It was incredible. It was such a wonderful experience to stay in a historic building that had modern amenities and a lot of space. The room decorations and sliding doors were beautiful. The living room overlooks the garden. Everything was clean. "We enjoyed our stay very much! The hotel is in a great location and was very quiet and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. We were amused that the neighbor had a red Ferrari in the driveway! It was nice to stay in a local neighborhood with more schoolkids and less tourists. Easy walk to Nijo Castle and the Imperial Palace garden."
