"We did not pay for the breakfast. The hotel is modern, has a hip feel to it and the location is unbeatable. Amenities we used: coin laundry, luggage transfer service (not part of the hotel). I wish there were better small things that would make our stay (with 2 little kids) more memorable: bottle of water, some kid activity welcome gift/snack, honestly a coloring sheet would do it, but there wasn't anything like that. It would be a nice touch. Everything else was fine, clean, small room, amazing views... Just that one little thing that makes you go...awww that's nice!"

"Small cramped rooms with step up bathroom. A real budget option that is not value for money. Good location but full of cheap tour groups with over an hours wait to check in. We cancelled our 5 night booking after one night and paid a penalty. Definitely not suitable for a family or persons with mobility issues which is not detailed anywhere on the site and is not considered a reason to cancel without penalty."

"Overall the property was good . Pretty small but it would work for 2 person! Only problem was that in the map it doesn’t show how far is that to the city centre and you need to walk a lot ! Be aware of that! The good point is subway station is near by walking 10 mins ! It worth the budget"

"3 of us stayed in the Quad room Very close the train station, grocery stores, restaurants, 7-11 and Lawsons and other shopping ie: Uniqlo and Muji. Karaoke next door downstairs. They call it “traveller’s apartment’ therefore like an Airbnb. Front staff isn’t always there but can be contacted via iPad on the front desk. Will NOT be enough space for 5 people. Tops 4 people would be comfortable. Laundry is handy to have. No drying feature but the tub/shower area has a heat/drying option to dry clothes by hanging. Detergent provided. Sometimes sewage backup smell would permeate the unit after a rainy day/night. Use the air purifier in the closet to help with the smell. Fire alarm went off twice during our stay. Once at 9pm and other at 11pm. Although not Karin’s fault, it was very annoying. Friendly staff with some English. Use Google Translate if necessary. No drawers so we lived off our packing cubes. Remember to take off your shoes in the ‘genkan’ especially when you check in. Most info in Japanese so it’s important to know what they mean via the manual provided in the room. It would be nice if they put a copy of the translation pasted to the wall for each appliance/machine. Kitchen used and sufficient for the stay. People who complained about no chopsticks in the unit, grocery stores will supply if you ask. "

"The room we booked had mystery stains all over the walls and curtains. Smelled horribly of mildew and the AC vent was so dusty. Room size and bed were on the smaller size even for Tokyo. The only redeeming quality was how close it was to the station. "

"There were shops and restaurants nearby. There were 2 train stations within walking distance. The room was very clean with aircon. The mattresses were very comfortable. Free coffee machine, snacks and free coffee/tea provided in the room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Excellent hotel just a 5 minute walk from Shin-Yokohama station. Wonderful inside the lobby and excellent view from my room on the 34th floor. Staff very helpful in guiding me through the process of shipping my luggage to my next hotel in addition to storing it prior to check in. "
