"The staff are lovely, the room is clean and the location is excellent. This is not a hotel though. It is what a western person would call a motel. There is no counter service in the middle of night and the front door is card locked, there is no room cleaning service (they just wash your towels, they don't clean your room during your stay). And the furniture has that dated, motel feel (some aspects like the aircon need to be replaced as they're currently too noisy to keep on during the night) It...

"The Shin Yokohama Grace Hotel is a hidden gem in my opinion. The location is fantastic (a few metres from Shin Yokohama station) and there are great shops and restaurants around the hotel. The staff could not have been friendlier and service was excellent. The rooms were huge by Japan standards and well equipped with a lovely sitting area. We booked two adjoining rooms for the family. Overall I would definitely stay here again and I thought for the price the hotel was amazing!!"
