"Hotel Alza was located in a great spot. It’s in Gion - close enough to all the great sights you can walk, but far enough away so you’re not trampled leaving the hotel. There is a kombini on the next block, and many many great restaurants. You’re also less than 10 mins walk to the shopping district. The staff were helpful and always available. But they are also discreet. Room ammenities were also thoughtful - face masks, heating eye patches, toe separators. All very considered for a long day on...

"A-un was small but cozy, hidden in a local alley. This location was so close to so many shopping areas. Me and my friends arrived 30 minutes early and was so burnt out from the long train ride and customer service were so fast with their response, they let us come in early thank goodness. We only stayed for one night but it was one of the best hotel experience we’ve ever had."

"I stayed in room for 4 people, 2 twin beds and 2 futon beds. Room is spacious for japanese standard and beautifully decorated. Convenience store just next to the hotel building. Walkable distance to popular Gion, Kiyomizu dera and Kodaiji temple. Everything is excellent. Thank you Minn Gion."
