"The room was within walking distance from the bamboo forest and local restaurants. It was hard to find dining at night because some restaurants close early and you have to cross bridge to search for other restaurants. Too many gnats flying around. Gnats were also in the rooms. The staff were really nice and very helpful and patient."

We were lucky enough to have a private onsen with very clean water at the perfect temperature on a lovely little lanai. All of the staff are very friendly and professional and the food is fantastic as well. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a touch of classic Japan in Kyoto!"

"Overall really nice stay at Sagano Hotel, have a simple breakfast (2 pc sandwich & a cup of coffee) in the morning is nice. The room is large with big bathroom & big bed. Have a microwave in room so can buy food at minimarket & self preheat. Wifi at room also really good. No time limit for check in, love it! From this hotel we can see the river of Togetsukyo Bridge and have free rental bicycle so really easy to get around arashiyama. But just remember that it is a Love Hotel so prefer for...
