" Noisy. Checked in late and was hoping for a peaceful night’s sleep. No such luck. Families and children running around the corridors at 11pm; people slamming doors and then not exactly quiet at 6am. Less of an issue as we also needed to be up early, but very frustrating, nonetheless. Staff were friendly and welcoming Pleased I’d only booked one night. Do not recommend. Very disappointed "

"We were so excited to return to Bali after many years and choose The Stones Hotel again. It did not disappoint, amazing location, service and staff. I need to call out Dyna who was absolutely amazing not only with our check-in but daily chats and an extended check out to ensure there was no gap before our flight, we hope you enjoy our gift Dyna!!! "This is the place to stay. It’s not the cheapest but for what you get, the price is incredible. The staff are beyond amazing. No request is too big, they are always happy to help with a smile. Sure, the pool bar stools have seen better days and they could use a new billiards table. But the experience as a whole more than makes up for it. The hotel is very clean and the staff works very hard to maintain everything. And the pool just has a vibe. So much so that we went on a tour and had a chance to stay at a famous infinity pool for the afternoon and chose to come back to the Holiday Inn. Food and drinks are also well priced- again, not the cheapest, but the quality is just amazing. And the all you can eat breakfast buffet is unbelievable!!! If you eat at Palms restaurant, do have the black rice pudding, it’s not what you would expect and it will blow your socks off. We are definitely coming back. One more thing- it’s very family friendly too and the family suites are amazing. List of fun for the kids and privacy for mum and dad."

"My husband and I loved our room. It was clean and reasonably sized. The shower was very large and fully enclosed hence no water all over the floor when you’ve finished, which is usually the case in a lot of Bali hotels! So nice to step out onto a dry floor! The breakfast was yummy, lots of choice and fresh, well presented food! Staff were so polite and friendly and very accommodating! Air conditioning worked well! The pool is well maintained and very relaxing. Located in a good area, close to lots of shops and amenities. Very close to airport. Saves long journeys to and from the airport. Our only complaint was it’s located next door to a large church. We could hear a mixture of singing & voices talking which was extremely loud due to being broadcast over a loud speaker! This happened the day we arrived and went on for about 4-5 hours non stop and on the Thursday before Easter it went from lunchtime till 11.45 pm, approx 12 hours!! It’s not the hotels fault but unfortunately it was hard to escape it. We closed our doors to the balcony but we could still hear it. We would stay there again but not on Sundays or whenever there are religious sermons happening! "

"I loved that there was a self serve laundry available for, guests, the view from the 6th floor restaurant was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was a bit dirty, the food upstairs was not that good and a bit expensive for the size of the servers. The Indian food at street 32 was lovely"
